The layout was pretty good.. the decor was light on the eyes and the music volume was just perfect to cut out people's chattering while not being loud enough to hear what someone on your table was saying.....
In the food, id recommend
Signature prawns dish (have never had better prawns.. ever!)
double bones lamb chops (well done was really well done)
beef lasagna was good as well....
their desserts were great as well... esp the yogurt with apricot sauce and chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream
the service was great.. the staff was well knowledged and courteous....
the best part, the chef came out to explain how he made his prawn dish and gave us some great info into Italian cuisine ... he was a very polite and respectful person, a true gentleman!..
The only downside i saw was the spotlights over my head, a bit too bright.. and the candle light on the table was pretty irritating as well....
the bill was about AED 1000 for four which was reasonable considering the amount of items we tried
its a great place to go out to and will surely go back!

Nice italian restaurant with a new menu with a nice selection of food from umbria. The presentation of the meal is fantastic and the taste is awsome. Nice service offered by the attentive and friendly staff.

Deliciously unusual pasta with basil, crab and lobster. Very enjoyable and lovely staff. Lovely Rose by the glass. My only quibble would be a disappointment that the restaurant serves Bluefin Tuna. I would like them to take this off the menu and replace it with a sustainable species.
