Would you go back to this restaurant?
Wait staff knew the menu very well, and not just by repeating it. Understood and guided us on best options from a wide range, and we felt it was done with knowledge and care. So many items described in detail that this was more than trying to sell the special of the day. Excellent food when it arrived, and whilst normally pretty dismissive of fads and trends in food service (dry ice etc), the delivery seemed to make a difference and a Friday lunch for three was a real treat. The senior staff know when good service is attentive but not intrusive, and they could have tried to sell us a lot of courses, but instead went with a certain amount and suggested we come back for a try at the menu again if we were hungry. We were not. Only downside? Like many restaurants in Dubai there is no option for buying 'local' water as this seems to be disappearing fast from the scene; understand that branded water makes a lot more margin, but it's irksome to be treated as a wallet opener by restaurants. That aside the price was very good - AED 500 for a great lunch for 3-people, including a good tip. City Walk will no doubt get very busy once the soft opening ends after the summer (presumably that's the point of all the continued construction) and outside becomes available. In 9-years in Dubai I'd say this experience was one that gives hope to great food at a price which would ensure a regular visit. Well done Farzi. At last, international standards at justifiable prices with trained staff. We are often amazed how difficult those three attributes are to be to found in one place.
