Nestled in the heart of Barsha Heights, this restaurant at the dusitD2 Kenz Hotel boasts bright walls, a high ceiling and quirky lights that perfectly encapsulate a Mediterranean vibe.
Long lounging benches invite you to come here for a cup of tea during the day, a lengthy casual lunch or a relaxed evening meal. Whatever you’re looking for, you’re likely to have it covered here.

On the plus side, the menu is extensive, ranging from traditional appetisers, hot and cold tapas, burgers, pizza, pasta and grilled dishes.
We opt for the baba ganoush which is the smokiest we’ve ever tried. The flavour is intense but goes wonderfully with the paprika flat bread. The spaghetti aglio e olio is a highlight for us. A twist on the classic dish, this fresh egg pasta version has added chilli for a spicy kick.
If you’re after a no frills laid-back meal, you’d do worse than trying this one, but Wise Kwai wins our vote if you’re looking to dine in this hotel.
