Set in d3 you’re best off heading here during the working week if you want to see this place in full flow. Light, bright and airy, it’s a pleasant spot to eat and food arrives nice and quickly – perfect for the lunchtime rush.
An Italian classic, the parmigiana presents layers of thinly slices aubergine with a tomato sauce and mozzarella baked right in, topped with a crispy coating. It’s delicious, and warms the belly. We also opt for a seared salmon steak – which is beautifully prepared and well-seasoned, arriving with a well-balanced salad to make sure we get one of our five a day.
And because our eyes are bigger than our belly, we also order a grilled vegetable half-sandwich. Grilled veg packed inside a warm and lightly toasted seeded ciabatta roll, with basil pesto and roasted pine nuts in there for good measure.
If you’re in the neighbourhood, we’d recommend dropping in for lunch.
The bottom line Fresh food, served swiftly. A top lunch spot.
