Seville’s on Map

If I had read the earlier reviews, may I would not have tried Seville's. Thankfully I did not. The place is authentic Spanish, with decent Sangria and Spanish Estrella beer on tap. OK, it has Dubai prices but no surprises there. Service was great, better than many other restaurants in Dubai 2015. The food was good and did not take too long to arrive at the table.
I recommend that you ignore previous comments as the place as it is now does not deserve such bad press.
I will return for sure.

Service was ok. Salad very nice. Paella and taps were awfull. Sangria was really bad.
I wouldn't recommend it.

Haven't been to the place in years, and was unfortunately left with a bitter taste in my mouth...and that was not just because of the food! The service was terrible....sitting right next to the ordering point it was pretty amazing how every single waiter ignored us. First drink took about 45min to order. Now the part that really irritated me, the so called deal...it is AED10 for sangria, only problem beeing the sangria was more like fruit juice...obviously getting only your AED10 worth in the end. Tapas for AED10, again not really a deal...bite size would be an exageration. I have been to the place loads of times in the past and reccomended the paella to my friends....not bad, but really not good either...sparce seafood in a rather flavourless dish, which is a pity considering how good it used to be. Poor service continued, and after paying the bill which had a mandatory 10% service charge added to the bill, having not put in anything extra (which I usually always do having been a waiter myself) the waiter stopped serving the table even though most of us stayed for a few nightcaps. Had to go to the bar or ask another waiter for a drink, a real drink that is...which was overpriced and watered down

Great Paella... Went with friends and family a couple of times and every body enjoyed the place

In short: never again!
In details: went there with 2 friends on Sunday. Place seemed quite ok with seating al fresco. Unfortunately the seating is the best thing on offer with the beer... We ordered 3 tapas as starters: calamares fritos, tortilla de patatas and gambas a la plancha. Followed by one paella de pollo, one "rice soup" and one of their main with the monk-fish.
After waiting for nearly one hour with only our beers the waiter came straight with the main courses... No tapas yet... We had to send him back to the kitchen, asking again for the tapas and making clear the main courses had to come only later on, fresh and not simply heated up again.
Calamares: not really rings of squid but rather something like overcooked spaghettis, all soft with a squashy "crust". Even the garlic sauce was totally wrong.
Gambas: should have been grilled (a la plancha...) but seemed more like steamed or cooked in water... And for too long as they were also awfully soft!
Main dishes (not worth going into details): none was good, all were bland; even with additional pepper it was the worse Spanish food I ever had!
Obviously when the waitress came with the desserts menu we skipped it!
End result: one of my friend spent the whole next day at home vomiting while I had also stomach troubles. So not only is the food not good but even worse it seems pretty not fresh and not hygienically handled!
