Friday brunch

This family-friendly brunch revolves around the Raffles Roast and features hot and cold starters and signature weekly desserts (including bread and butter pudding). There’s a kids’ corner featuring a cupcake and cookie icing station. Dhs235 (tea and coffee), Dhs385 (house beverages), free for two children aged 11 and under per couple; additional children aged six to 11 half price.

Timings: 1pm-4.30pm (Friday)

Returned to Azur today having been there earlier in the year. We had a party of eight (with four kids) and were given an excellent table with plenty of space. The restaurant is very light, airy and well appointed and there is an air of relaxed elegance. The Friday brunch is a roast buffet with various options for children and a selection of vegetables and side dishes. There is also an excellent selection of starters, salads, cheese and biscuits and desserts. Azur is not like many of the big, brash brunches but they really seem to concentrate on the quality of what they do and the result was a delicious and very relaxing experience. The quality of the meat is outstanding, especially the rib of beef and the pork belly - in fact, it is worth the price just for the pork alone and the crackling is simply out of this world. Young kids eat free and so lunch for a family of four with unlimited house drinks is only about 700 Dhs. This is great value and far better than other brunches I've been to in this price range - its actually better than a fair few more expensive ones I've been to as well. Last time we went was good, today's lunch was really excellent and I think the new manager, Salman, looked to have upped the standard of the operation a fair bit. We will definitely be back before long.

Went to Friday Roast Buffet and was very pleased with variety and quality of food. They have a kids corner with Play Station, Cartoons, face painting, baloon man. Def good value.
