the food is discussing and expensive, and I realized that from my first and last visit, although the place is beautifully decorated, you can enjoy the place by ordering a bottle of water which is the only good tasting thing in this restaurant, I have been all around the world and have tried lots of disgusting pizzas but I have to say this one is the most disgusting.

It is typical in Dubai have fancy restaurants, with outstanding atmosphere but at the expense of not amazing food at a high cost. 800 Pizza truly believes in its food, and focusing on creating quality food at a decent price and tries to give you as close to the Italian experience as they can. Any other Italian restaurant that I have tried, doesn't compare to how good 800 Pizza is. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Just looked at the website....after trying to look though the menu its just too fancy and slow to make it worth my time....so I gave up.
No idea about the food etc....just the website put me off.
BTW I've been working in IT for 27 years...so its not being a technophobe that made the website so bad -

I had the misfortune of having an 800PIZZA delivered to me. After waiting over an hour for it to arrive, I opened the box to see a burnt pizza with half the toppings slid off it. When I called to complain, the manager wasn't particularly sympathetic. He wanted the pizza sent back with the driver and offered to send another after 45mins or knock off 5Dhs. I won't be using them again.

Good food and great pizza, little expensive but acceptable value for money. Nice idea of italian movies of the Seventies
Location not that great (Marina walk, just below a bridge,,,) but good ambience overhall, when setting outside is possible
Dessert choice not that great, really not any italian specialities, no icecream no "cannoli from sicily"
But a good expresso, so difficult to find in Dubai

The Pizza was great... Not the best in Dubai though, but it is for sure not disappointing. There was live music, if you enjoy that while dining. The price is average for this segment.
I went to the one in Marina, which has a great setting. -

This is a review for the Al Barsha branch delivery only. Their pizza used to be amazing but the Al Barsha branch seems to have been forgotten when they opened the Marina store. We've given them several chances over the past six months or so and every time the service was terrible (they seemed unable to even take my telephone number) and the pizza, while it did arrive at my door, has been completely soggy with uncooked toppings every time without exception.
Really sad, they used to be the best, but now I'd have to recommend against ordering from them at all unless you want a super soggy pizza with uncooked toppings. -

I am regular at 800 Pizza in Marina walk. The best authentic Roman Pizza in Town. Very nice ambience especially outdoor. Try the appetizers and the mouthwatering chocolate cake

I love 800 pizza, sorry for the italian that do not like it)))
Rosetti prefers Pizza INN? Yes, how can't we appreciate chicken pizza of Pizza Inn?
800 pizza offer a very nice Pizza Romana, typical from Rome. Any place of italy can offer you some different product, pizza in Naples is different from Pizza in Rome or in Mantova, that's clear!
But my congratulation to 800-pizza. A GOOD PIZZA AND A FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE!
WELL DONE! -

I tried their pizza for the 1st time for lunch today. I ordered home delivery. I don't have words to describe how good the pizza was. Allow me to elaborate on my order:
A classic Funghi Rossa, with the following additional toppings - zucchine, garlic, italian chilli seeds, basil, oregano and a dash of extra virgin olive oil sprinkled on top.
The meal was light, but filling and it was, by far, the best pizza i've tried to date. I highly recommend it. I can't wait to try a different pizza tomorrow! -

Being Italian I thought I'd found a home away from home when I first heard about this place. But I was seriously disappointed after having visited.
800Pizza offers nothing but commercialised versions of dishes back home. Its right up there with Pizza Inn atleast they don't pretend to be authentic Italian.
I have to agree with Angelo that its just local burnt Arabic bread with one of the local supermarket pizza sauce on it. I think my 12 yr old daughter could make a better authentic pizza than 800 or should I call it 300. As the food was no less of a slaughter of the Persians by Leionidas as 800 has butchered authentic Italian cusine.
It does look like the other coments are posted by the owner or owners friends or family as I refuse to beileve that these people aslo visited the same resturant as I did or maybe they really never have tried authentic Italian pizza in the first place.
My search for Italian Pizza still continues, although someone did tell me about another place somewhere behind MOE but this "authentic" place has left me with a bitter aftertaste.
Oh well maybe on one of those really boring nights I will give it a try.
Stay tuned people. -

I am from Napoli and that pizza was so far from an Italian pizza. Extremely thin, it's Arabian bread with tomato and cheese!! It’s not a pizza. Besides that, the pizza was cold when arrived home. The lasagna of my friend was a fatty dish. Surely not to be repeated! Angelo & Claudia

Obviously the comments before are written by the owner (Alessandro). That is not a real good Italian pizza! Please my family is Italian and I know how a good pizza taste! I agree 90% on the first comment from Time Out. The pizza is not so tasty and the price is really high! The wood oven gives a good taste and when this place opened they had better ingredients (the mozzarella is now as normal and tasteless like any other cheap pizza). The new location in Dubai Marina is not good at all. The oven is bigger and they use a different quality of wood, so the pizza is really bad. Besides that, the waiters are extremely unprofessional and a beer costs a fortune!

800 Pizza served me a COLD, tasteless pizza and they were so slow to change it. On another occasion, I ordered home delivery and the delivery person pretended not to have change so he could walk away with the 5 dhs! To top it all, my pizza came burnt from the sides (literally black). Of course, it was too late to change. Not impressed and never again.

The best in the world, I never had a pizza like that, even better than Italy, and if i said that, belive me......I am Neapoletan (where the first pizza was made; The Margherita for Queen Margherita, at the tima in Neaples).

By far the best pizza in town. The margherita con buffala mozzarella is a must try, worthy of the original pizza in Naples. The place is informal, charming and very authentic italian. A lot of credit goes to the host and his staff who are extremely friendly and who provide great service. The delivery service has so far never let me down. Thumbs up for this little real italian parlour!
