Very delicious and tasty mexican foods with a really big portion! Very fair price and high quality! Sorry for myself not to visit there in last 3 years! Will definitely go there every week! Super tasty Live queso for starter, Tasty Quasedilla for main course and Paradise taste Turtle for desserts! Free Tortilla chips with Salsa were super delicious too

While the food and everything on the menu was pretty much decent for a mexican restaurant like OTB, I was highly deserved by the quantity of food they put on the plate!

We ordered a Chicken & Shrimp Grill, Mexicana Salmon & a Baja Chicken

The chicken and shrimp plate consisted of a palm-sized chunk of chicken grilled to perfection, topped with cheese and tomatoes & onion, sided with grilled vegetables & Mashed Potatoes (which was superb!). Whenever I visit a restaurant like this one (quite highly priced for a plate), I always expect the plate to be "overflowing", or atleast to keep my hunger satisfied when I'm halfway through! I'd say just 75% of the plate was filled up, I kept taking bites of the salmon & the baja chicken, and I was still hungry!

There was a Watermelon Punch (Picther) which was quite refreshing, and I guess I enjoyed watching the waiter stir up fresh Guacomole for another table, rather than exploring my plate, cause there was literally nothing!

The bill came up to AED 200, left us all a bit...unsatisfied!

On the whole...would rate the restaurant a 6.5/10

I am a regular at On the Border. Whenever I want a mega portion of great food, OTB comes to mind. The setting in JBR is great when the weather is nice. Go ahead and try it out.

We are regular patrons of this restaurant.. the food and service in this place is very good. The size of portions may be a bit much but that depends from person to person. Their staff is very friendly and eager to help. The guacamole (made live), fazitas, chimichanga, etc are good.
For those who wish to try this restauraunt i will strongly recommend the same.
