Entering Bikanervala felt like entering a brightly-lit school canteen

Food is tasty.
Ambience is good.
Very high priced.
If I have to rate for service I would like to rate negative 2, very indifferent staff. Staff look through you. When you approach any one, they start looking at some distant object, you need to request them to look at you. They have the ringers, but they give it after you wait for ten minutes at the counter, if the staff finally looks at you, as if you are a nuisance to his job.

We keep coming back here, one of the better, hygienic and tasteful Indian chaat places.

Bikanerwala in Dubai is adequately priced in some items and highly priced in other items. Sweets are very expensive. Despite this fact, Bikanerwala does not provide value for money as they are going on reducing portions. Samosa, kachori have been made small and stuffed tandoori paratha has become small and thin due to reduced stuffing. Tandoori roti in their expensive thali is been downsized and thinned.

Bikanerwala is priced on the higher side for their segment and though they are hygienc and have good ambience, the value for money is lacking.
Samosas and kachoris are becoming smaller day by day, a plate of dhokla does not even have 4 pieces which is standard. Even street vendors and smaller joints do not reduce the portion in the way Bikanerwala does. Their portions are less otherwise as well.
Their liited thali which is 25 AED plus i absolitely no value for money.
Despite talking about great Indian hspitality, they donot offer free drinking water and instead they sell water on margins.
