It is the high time Timeout revisit the restaurant and re do the review.
I agree the food was good at one stage, but currently it is pathetic.
It will be helpful to all readers and those who refer to timeout reviews, if we can come up with a new review.

I had heard a lot about this place so travelled all the way from Sharjah! Result : HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!
Food: Very rich and definitely delicious, however the menu was nothing beyond ordinary. I was also not handed the Fusion menu, so I assume that reflects poor service.
Ambience: Not good, one cannot even hold a conversation without having to strain their throat. Extremely loud music, not to mention the music from the bar next door was really loud for a spillover noise! The result was chaotic.
Price: OVER priced! I would like to compare Claypot restaurant from City Max here - similar ambience, music and food....but less than half the price.
Decor: It did not match the menu card and takeout bag design and spirit, so it totally looked out of sync.
Total waste of time.

I think the restaurant is over hyped about its ability to serve fusion food. We was extremely disappointed with the food. I agree with some of the comments above that the ambiance is just normal and service is quite poor or extremely poor and price for its league is not justified.
I will not recommend and will not go there

It was a good restaurant, however the live enetertainment people were a bit loud and sometimes out of tune... however, the overall atmosphere was very family friendly. Definately not recommended for romantic dinners.
The appetizers were delicious and very different, however the main courses were bland and boring in taste.. The desserts were very uniquely presented and the paan was exceptional.

Yes i have been there a couple of times and i appreciate the "difference" it has with any other indian restaurant. Hence the name goes extremely well with this place.
The food was great...the vodka filled pani pudis was exotic and the rasmalai served on lighted sprits was enchanting.
Though the place is a bit small and the service needs to improve a lot, i will recommend all with an inclination to differ to visit this place.
