European restaurant in Dubai's Marina Walk
From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2011With bobbing yachts and twinkling tower lights keeping you company, Inferno Grill at the Dubai Marina Walk is often the preferred choice for many in the area because it serves up international fare, which means there’s everything from tikkas to steak for you to choose from. Service is prompt and waiters are happy to recommend dishes and describe how they are prepared. The beef fillet steak comes cooked just the way you like it although it's probably not the best in town. The Indian mix platter, which is good enough for two to share, has a hearty mix of seafood, meat and chicken cooked in different spices and presented rather well. Taste-wise, it packs in more flavour than heat, which is perfect. Though it can get quite busy on weekends, there’s a relaxed, welcoming vibe to Inferno that is reflected in both the service and food. Definitely worth a visit. Inferno Grill

Food was shocking..

Yet another failure on the marina walk! With such an extensive menu it's a dead give away that the food will not be up to any standard. when i asked the staff if the chef knew how to cook all these cuisines immediate response was "of course!" This however, was not the case.
The calamari were bland and the texture equivalent to any 10dhs frozen carrefour calamari pack. The rib-eye was ordered medium rare- sadly, this was never achieved. When the first one came out nearly blue, the manager apologized and assured me that the chef was capable of sending a new one cooked to medium rare perfection. on the second attempt, it reached the table unseasoned and completely well done. Accompanying the first steak was the "creamy" mash potatoes. They tasted like yesterdays leftovers with no seasoning and plenty of lumps. The second attempt was with wedges, yet another insult to food! the seasoning was nowhere to be found.
When this came to the managers attention, the usual question was asked, "so what do you want me to do about this mam/sir?"
extremely poor management with a severely dysfunctional kitchen makes this yet another failed Dubai restaurant. Such a shame since the prime location could easily keep me coming back time after time again.
