People will have to pay hundreds of dirhams for under average food, similar to the one we can have at a petrol station. And in addition to that, the service is very bad, the waitor/ waitress Jeramie makes the person feel unwelcomed at this place, she did not learn how to put on a little smile or to even say hi or thank you to the customer.

Would you go back to this restaurant?
I went here because of another feature on TimeOut Dubai called "5 beach bars...". Almost immediately after walking in a rude Indian recreation manager by the name of Anthony demanded I tell him what room I was staying in and told me that the beach and bar was for "in-house guests only." He also told he would call the police on me if he ever saw me there again.
Aside from the TREMENDOUS hospitality I received, I just saw a bunch of families running around a very run-of-the-mill type bar. Skip it, Barasti or one of the bars by Habtoor are way better.

Decent poolside restaurant. Good food thats not too epensive. Has good sandwhiches and mocktails. If you would like to chill by the poolside and sip some good healthy drinks, this is a good bet.

We are reasonably new to Dubai and haven't been to that many places but so far Wavebreaker's has to be the favorite for an afternoon spot of lunch and a drink. It gives you that real holiday feel sitting right on top of the beach, I have not been able to find any way that comes close to this casual and very enjoyable experience. As for the food II haven't had a bad meal yet, the bbq'd chicken is a good size portion, very tasty and is nice washed down with a corona or glass of the house white. Prices typical of the high prices you expect to pay at hotels in Dubai, but if you want to feel like your on holiday when your not this is the place to come, for me at least.
