Curry, karaoke and barbecued delights in a quirky restaurant
From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2011Dubai is fast becoming a hot spot for the international premieres of Bollywood’s top flicks. ‘It’s Mirchi’, a popular venue for some of the post-premiere parties, is quite happy to flaunt its affinity towards the Hindi movie industry. Ornate photo frames of Bollywood icons adorn the walls, videos of Bollywood songs play on the TVs, and the restaurant-cum-club plays desi music. The restaurant serves à la carte, but the buffet offers an equally exciting range for vegetarians and non-vegetarians.
As well as the kebabs, curries, biryanis and desserts, also try the rare delights such as strawberry lassi and grandmum-like phulka breads. It’s Mirchi may not be the ideal place for intimate evenings, especially for those hostile to smoking, loud music or hyperactivity. It’s more of a buzzing hangout for families and friends, to enjoy animated banter or hit the dance floor after 11.30pm. This changeover from restaurant to club means that diners under 21 years of age will need to exit the restaurant at 11.30pm, to comply with the emirate’s clubbing laws. It's Mirchi

well i went for a buffet and they told us that we can still stay inside for the clubbing. so after dinner the clubbing started amazing music
and well behaved staff. not sure how they deal with people with kids.
As i read above that you have to exit and pay again to come is not true i guess. if you speak to the staff they stamp u and you can continue the party. gr8 place to go.
looking farward to go their again.

I do not think that they are rude on implementing the law they have clearly mentioned the dining up to 2330hrs then why people wanna stay back and argue with the management for this, if you are there for dinner then it finishes at 2330h....... the management never asked any diners to leave if they are couples , well dressed and without kids,.....the food is execlent value for money the music is awesome and what else u need in life ......i love parting in mirchi........
