Junsui
The last thing you expect from the Burj Al Arab is to bag a bargain, and the first thing you expect is quality. On that basis alone Junsui meets expectation. As a pan-Asian buffet restaurant it ticks all the boxes you are likely to hope for, but the prices you pay are disproportionate with the rest of the city’s dining scene. Ordered according to cuisine, on offer are specialities from China, Japan, Korea, Thailand and Indonesia, with a range of live cooking stations. The top draw is an extensive sushi counter, with swoon-worthy freshly cut sashimi that's among the best we’ve tasted. The dim sum station is equally successful, authentic flavours only let down by a small selection (around four items at a time). The live teppanyaki and Korean grill are less remarkable, serving up mounds of meat a little bland and overdone for our tastes, while the range of main courses is solid but not stand out. Overall the impression is one of being at a mid-sized brunch, but without the accompanying beverage package on the table. While wide, the selection isn’t as jaw-droppingly extensive as competing Friday offerings elsewhere in Dubai, and it’s clear that by dining at Jinsui you’re paying a premium for the address. However if you want to sample a plethora of Asian tastes at a single meal table and cost isn't an issue, dive in. Junsui

An extraordinary place! Food was amazingly tasty, personnel was very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was superb. Would recommend any day. On top of all that, it is a good value for your buck. The price per head is a bit higher than that of a Burj Al Arab tour, but you get a full buffet dinner, and a chance to wonder through Burj Al Arab, enjoying it's glamour beauty. Family friendly.
