Red Tomato Pizza

  • Red Tomato Pizza
Predominantly a pizza restaurant, Red Tomato does a roaring trade in delivering thin-crust, wood-fired oven-cooked classics across the city. Yet surprisingly it feels like they haven’t overlooked their restaurant despite the army of scooters waiting outside. We like the faux rustic Italian charm and the sense of unpretentious intimacy it creates. Staff are friendly and the open kitchen creates a cosseting atmosphere. With the pizzas, despite some of the toppings lacking a little in quality, they’ve pretty much got it sussed and we think you need to be somewhat of a connoisseur to object to what is served. Beyond pizza, things aren’t quite so clever, with cheap ingredients and a lack of sophisticated flavours letting the side down. Essentially, Red Tomato is a pizza joint and when in Rome... We never visited there, but order home delivery very frequently.
Very tasty Pizzas with fresh ingredients, and we never got bored or felt enogh, even though we order only vegetarian.

Apart from the food one appreciable thing is their punctual and speedy home delivery. If they say 45 minutes, 100% it will reach you atleast on the 45th minute !. Keep it up...

Great little spot near MoE; pizza is fab - thin crusts, tasty toppings and some unusual options. We had the Arancini for starters which was also good - a little dry perhaps but good nonetheless. Ray, the manager, was attentive and informative, and the service was good. Definitely worth a visit!

Loved the interiors and must say exteriors too! Very quaint, very refreshing at Al Barsha!
The pasta was fabulous but the pizza was just fine.

I went there with my wife and we both fell in love with the place. Great decor and has a spirit. Dubai needs a lot of those small restaurants and i hope this one doesn't turn into a mall chain. Definitely recommend the vegetarian pizzas.
