Would you go back to this restaurant?
10th Aug. I went to Pullman following reading about their Iftar buffet on timeout since I live right behind mall of the emirates! Very convenient... I wish I hadnt gone.
We walked in & this was not Sanabel, in fact, it ws not a restaurant in the first place. It is the conference space merged together & turned into a restaurant, but in the most tastless way. In fact, the more people walked in, the more tables & chairs kept being added.
The service was not at all what I an used to from Pullman, simply poor.
But, this was all acceptable due to the Iftar time being very busy etc.
But now! Food is what you to go a restaurant for... it accounts for at least 60% of how you feel about a restaurant. In this case, the food was an absolute disaster:
The Ramadan drinks served were less than you would expect from a kiosk in Deira...
The meat from both the sikh kebabs as well as the cutlets was gone bad..
    The shrimps were extrmely salty
The rice with fish was made from cream doury fish (frozen & not cooked with the rice, but added on).
We complained then to the supervisor about the meat that smelled VERY VERY BAD... I would like to say the word, but will keep it to myself here! Supervisor comes & replies saying he is vegetarian & hence can not give us feedback!!!!!!!!!!! but he will take it to the Chef... Weird, but ok...
Chef comes out, nice Philipino guy & tries to convince us that its the marinade! & when I explained to him, he said he wouldnt know the details since he is in charge of salads & vegetables!
hmmmmm suddenly no one in the hotel has anything to do with this meat!
Anyway, we call the Restaurant Manager Benjamin, who then tell us that he has no idea how this can happen, but will find out....
    And thats it...
    I mean...
    That is it!
There was neither an apology, nor an explanation or anything!
this is not for a wine spill or too much of something in the food, we are talking about BAD MEAT here.... Like disgustingly smelling bad meat!
I can not believe Pullman Hotel has reacted in this way! I am more upset of the feedback & result than of the mistake with the food itself!

Would you go back to this restaurant?
We ordered the dinner package. Salat good, deserts all you can eat nice, wine which we wanted was 'out of stock', but the main course where you should get a steak was a disapointment. It was very thin, which per my opinion is not a real steak. It was ordered as medium well, but came as done and the meat was not very good. It may be a good restaurant, but they have no idea what is a steak. The value for money is per my opinion here not given.

We are visiting Sanabel quite often, especially after shopping in Emirates Mall for Dinner. The licensed restaurant is serving food and drinks which reflects absolut value for money and the service is in my opinion well trained, and very helpfull.
I believe a real option to all other outlets in Emirates Mall. With a nice outside seating area after dinner you can have a chat with your friends.

Worth a try in every aspect!!

PS: Try the ice cream in the 5th floor. Better than any ice-cream outlet in the Mall und again Value for money!

Great food, great atmosphere. This evening I witnessed service on a level I have not seen for a long time. This evening I got blown away.

I had gone for lunch and I was welcomed with smiles. The food is as good as it can get! The view of the Sh.Zayed Road with the Burj Al Arab as the backdrop from the balcony is amazing!! The night view is something you should look forward to. It's truly a sight to witness!!

The ambience was very soothing and relaxing. Overall my experience at Sanabel was memorable and I would stronhly suggest corporate as well as family visits. I would give the restaurant an 8/10.
