You’d be forgiven for thinking you’ve walked into a Japanese eatery given the decor at this Sheikh Zayed Road eatery. Graffiti is sprayed on corrugated iron adorning the walls and manga-style cartoon characters decorate the ceiling. Thanks to the delectable dishes on offer for astoundingly low prices, this cool comic book-style Lebanese street food restaurant is perennially packed with all kinds of patrons, from businessmen and women in suits to expats and students from around the world. Zaroob offers outstanding, fresh and juicy shawarmas for a nominal Dhs10 as well as other light bites and sandwiches. Zaroob is well worth a visit, even if you have to wait a little while for a table. Staff are friendly and keep their cool despite the vast numbers already dining, milling around both inside and out waiting for and to be seated and waiting for takeaway. But the good service, great prices and undoubtedly delicious food makes all the waiting worth it. Zaroob

We visited Friday lunchtime expecting good food and patchy service, judging by the reviews. Maybe we were lucky but we found the Restaurant Managers both excellent and friendly. Our first waiter paid very little attention while ordering, but the nxt waiter was much better. We'll definitley return and see if the first standards are repeated. Two thumbs up

    good food worst service.

waited for almost half an hour just for a pot of morrocan tea just to find there's no sugar in it.. when we asked for sugar, the waiter gave us such an unpleasant facial expression "no sugar in it?? rellyyy?" came back few min later, slam the sugar jar on our table. without tea spoon, so we just stir the sugar with a table spoon,we're just not bother to ask anything from them anymore after several call we made to 'the unhappy to assist waitress' because they keep missing something from our food order. what a SHAME!!! n 'the supervisor', was just standing there next to our table, watching us without doing anything. will NEVER ever come back.
