The Oregano in Media city was the first one for me to have visited, which paved way for my forth coming visits. The red signage in the heart of the Media city cannot be missed and I had to admit to myself that they had a great competitive advantage in terms of visibility.
As we entered the restaurant, the polite hostess welcomed us and led us to the table of our choice. We sat outside as it was the onset of winter.
The table was clean with cutleries properly laid out, and the waiter immediately brought the menu cards to us.While we were looking at the elaborate menu, the waiter brought us freshly baked breads with their respective condiments. Its texture was so good that it would melt in our mouths.
For starters, we decided to settle with their famous Arancini, fried rice balls with baby shrimps and mozeralla. While we decided to pass the drinks, the waiter suggested that their Thirst Quencher is something we shouldnt miss out on. So, we went ahead with his judgement and placed the order for the drink as well.
The food came in no time . The Arancini was such a mouth watering treat that we placed the order for one more portion. The drink was smooth and refreshing with lots of lime and mint.
For the main course, our pick was their speciality,Pizza. We chose Pollo Picante and a salad,Insalata Venezia. The main course arrived without any delay. The pizza had chicken, tomatoes and the right blend of herbs. The base was so crispy that I fell in love with it the first time I ate it.The salad itself was quite a generous portion with rocket leaves, sundried tomatoes and my own personal favorite pine nuts. The food was delicious that me and my partner ate stomach full.
When the waiter suggested dessert, we politely rejected assuring we would come back for more of the big pie,Oregano!!
The bill was reasoanble for the quality of the food provided, and we knew that we had one more reason to go back
