We have been going to Ravi's for 20 years and we are addicted. Last night we took our niece, it was great to see the place through a newbies’ eyes; she was impressed with the mix of nationalities and the 'down town' feel in the street, it's alive. As for the food: chicken tikka, butter chicken, naan breads and the best dal she has ever tasted. Shopping malls and 5 stars restaurants have their place but this experience is real and priceless.

I went to the Ravi's restaurant opposite Burjuman with my family, on recommendation by my friend. The initial impression of the place was OK. However, the food was really lousy and the i seriously doubt the hygiene as the place in general was not kept up (specially the handwash areas ).
The attitude of the service staff was general and casual.
I for one am not going back to this place.

I went to Dubai for a short visit and a friend took me to Ravi Restaurant. I really enjoyed and always recommend my family and friend to taste their food. It is really good,

I have been twice and the food is excellent, great curries and fresh naan breads. although they over charged me on both occasions I went??? only by small amouts but these are the only times i have been overcharged in Dubai. Shame.

I have been a regular visitor to Ravi Restarurants in nearly all branches time to time. About Bur Dubai branch, its better in terms of cleanness, the ambience, the outer look and the location. Its opposite to Burjuman, and closer to Khaled bin Walid metro station, very approachable from all parts of Dubai.
Parking is also available in bulk, very big space on road next to Pizza hut and left side of the Ravi Restaurant itself, so never had this problem.
The best part of Ravi is always the foood,,,its awesome in terms of taste, best value for money and all items are served in quick time. So overall its so far the best Pakistani and Indian food in such price.
I like most, Chicekn Handee, Brain Masala, Barbecue items, Chicken Peshawaree and Aaaloo paratha. Tea is normal as you find anywhere else. But i dont recommend to order any Rice items (Biryani and Pulao), these are not at all as per Paksitani Standard.
Staff could speak English, Arabic, Hindi and Urdu, so you never feel any uncomfort in terms of ordering. First time Visitors will find it difficult to understand what item in menu is what as the menu is not explanatory and its not very well presented. So better ask to waiters, if you dont know as to what is the menu item before ordering.
In evenings you can enjoy food in open environment outside restarurant, its also very pleasing if you are comfortable eating on streets.
After the food, you can always go to Burjuman, Centre Point and other shopping outlets just in vincity of the Restaurant.
So overall, if you can compromise on ambience, i recommend Bur Dubai venue as one of the best located branches of Ravi and a perfect place to visit to eat Pakistani and Indian food with Family and freinds.
