Quite nice setting, food is alright, extensive wine list, the service itself is acceptable but not very personal (also got the feeling that they are talking about you behind your back...) and just very rude and unprofessional restaurant manager!
Don't worry, I won't come back!

The managers working there are really bad. They dont know how to solve problems. The food is ok, dont expect much.
So many better places for better prices.
I will never go back there and I will not recomend to my friends!

Best in town? I hope not. I thought the food was rather average and so was the service. The ambiance is not bad but its not really fantastic either. It's too casual for a great romantic dinner for two and yet too expensive for a casual restaurant. Some of the appetizer tasted like they were heated up in the microwave (especially the edamame and squid). The sushi was pretty ok. The best of the dishes we had was the "Octopus Kimchee" and the "Green Tea ice-cream" dessert. We love the Meridien Hotel though, but would rather go back for a drink in the lounge or choose another restaurant there next time.

I am Japanese and I liked the food at Kiku, very down to earth real Japanese menu which Japanese can eat without any fear of doubting if it's Japanish food or real Japanese food.
Some people criticise about the service level but it's ok for me, I eat food not staff or decor.
If you prefer quasi Japanese food or stupid decor then I recommend going somewhere else.

My friend has a Meridian Card which gives us 50% discount if two in one group. So if you have this card, the cost becomes very cheap.
But, do not expect excellent food quality and service... these are also very cheap.
I won`t be there any more for bussines lunch/dinner. Lazy and not heartfull staff are makes me so disapointed.
