Food: A fairly broad selection of buffet options, with an emphasis on British fare including pies and a carvery.
The set up: In the cooler months there’s an option of sitting outside on the terrace and inside you will find two levels of seating. If you need a clue as to its theme, look to its name and the photos of double-decker London buses everywhere. For a bit of brunch entertainment there’s a live band later in the day, plus a pool table.
Post-brunch plan: Seeing as there’s probably a large and rowdy crowd of you, why not grab a taxi to the near-by Emirates Towers and belt out a few tunes at Harry Ghatto’s karaoke bar: guaranteed fun. Al Murooj Rotana, Sheikh Zayed Road (04 321 1111)
