The Friday brunch is something of a Dubai institution.

Price: Dhs385 for house beverages, shaken drinks and bubbly; Dhs285 with soft drinks only.
Time: 12.30pm-4pm. Last order is at 3.45pm.
Food: This is the epitome of a high-end contemporary Japanese buffet. An array of starters are brought to your table as well as lining a buffet and then you select your main from the a la carte (hint: go for the black miso cod).
The set up: The brunch is held in the light-filled main restaurant downstairs – the decor is classy and chic. The resident DJ provides the brunch’s soundtrack, and there’s a fantastic kids’ play room where little ’uns can hide out.
Post-brunch plan: You’re a stone’s throw away from some of Dubai’s finest art galleries, or head to Caramel for an evening drink.

Last orders at 3pm...cost is 467 dhs with booze. No DJ or music.
No food is brought to your table only the main course. Everything else you have to queue for
