Balance Café This health-food restaurant has recently launched its new delivery service, which provides meals tailored specifically to customers’ dietary requirements. Dishes such as baked chicken roulade, low-calorie lemon tart, salads and a mixed variety of soups are available and, interestingly, the food is a fusion of macrobiotic foods and traditional ayurvedic cooking methods (cooking and ingredients geared towards your unique dietary needs). For those who have specific health or weight-loss goals, a free consultation service is offered by The Balance Fitness Centre’s Dr Chandy, with monthly meal plans ranging from Dhs2,500 to Dhs4,000. For the rest of us, healthy daily meals can be ordered for Dhs90 per day, which includes a three-course lunch and a two-course dinner delivered to your home or office. Level 3, Oasis Centre, Sheikh Zayed Road (04 515 4051).
Casserole Casserole is at the forefront of Dubai’s high-end delivery services, offering freshly cooked food – delivered chilled, not hot – that can be reheated in the oven or the microwave. What’s more, the food will last for up to two days if refrigerated, so you don’t have to tuck in the moment it reaches your doorstep. Dishes include healthy soups, salads and hearty mains such as beef and vegetable casserole, beef stroganoff, butter chicken curry, vegetarian shepherd’s pie, lasagne and a varied selection of desserts. www.casseroleonline.com (800 707).

There is nothing healthy about Casserole, it just happens to be one of the first search results on Google when you are looking for healthy food. I gave this place a chance twice, both times the food was disgusting, heavy and salads were not fresh. Kcal, Circle Cafe and Zest are much better and healthier options with fast delivery and fresh food.
