For the bread, potato rolls from Modern Bakery are the best option.’Ingredients(Makes ten mini burgers)200g onion 800g minced beef 150ml white vinegar 25g sugar 50ml hoisin sauce 50ml soy sauce 50ml ketchup 50ml barbecue sauce 1 tbsp olive oil ½ cup luke warm water 1 teasp salt 1 teasp black pepper 10 slices mozzarella 10 potato bread rollsMethod1 Season the minced beef in a bowl with salt and pepper. Make ten equally sized balls and flatten them to the desired thickness for your patties. Add the patties and sear on both sides.3 Add the white vinegar, sugar, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, ketchup, barbecue sauce and water.4 Let the mixture boil until the meat is cooked and the liquid has acquired a sauce consistency, then place a slice of mozzarella on each patty.5 Slice open the rolls and serve the patties with onion and sauce on top.
