At the end of a busy week, sometimes the best thing to do is to tuck into some of your favourite foods at a restaurant, but why only go to one when you can fill your face at six? Luckily enough, Thursday March 1 will see the return of Madinat Jumeirah’s Big Bite Out, but this time the foodie powers-that-be have created a menu of bigger proportions at the most popular restaurants across Jumeirah Al Naseem, Jumeirah Mina A’Salam and Jumeirah Al Qasr.
For Dhs395 a head, including unlimited drinks all night, indulge in some freshly shucked Fine de Claire oysters at Rockfish and savour some freshly made saj and huge spit roast lamb at Khaymat Al Bahar. If beef chorizo quesadillas are your craving, then the Mexican tastes at Tortuga await, but a tower of five different dim-sums and Beijing duck pancakes at Zheng He’s may just sway you instead. Al Hambra will host a giant paella station along with freshly made churros, while The Hide has set up barbecue fried chicken, kimchi-marinated steak and a huge bonfire cooking s’mores.
It’s a good thing the only choice you’ll have to make is where to start dining first. Each guest who books will choose which restaurant they would like to start off at, where they can stay for as little or as long as they like.
The night doesn’t have to end by the sixth restaurant though, as those who make it through all six (and collect a stamp at each) will get a free beverage at the after-party at Shimmers, the beach haunt at Jumeirah A’Salam, which will soothingly wash down the delights of the evening. With this amount of food on offer, you’re guaranteed the perfect night’s sleep.
To top it all off, each guest attending will also get a voucher with 30 percent off for brunches across the resort, including Rockfish’s Lazy Friday Lunch, to use before May 15. Dhs395 (selected beverages included). Thu Mar 1, 7pm-11pm. Madinat Jumeirah, Umm Suqeim (04 432 3232).
