We check out the new menu at Dubai’s award-winning La Petite Maison
One of the things we love about La Petite Maison is its unwavering quality. It’s consistently excellent and it’s a perennial Time Out Dubai award-winner (it’s our current Best French Restaurant, once again).
But that doesn’t mean it’s resting on its laurels. The DIFC fine dining spot has made several new introductions to its menu recently, and we love the sound of them.
In keeping with the warmer weather, the dishes are light, fresh and seasonal, including mussels Provençale with paprika, lamb’s lettuce salad, wild monkfish and beef ragout pappardelle.
“La Petite Maison chefs are inspired to create every new dish based on using only fresh, seasonal ingredients,” a member of the team tells Time Out Dubai.
“The chefs have an innate understanding of how to use the full natural palette of Mediterranean cuisine to create masterpiece dishes that are simple, unfussy, delicious, and delightful.”
The French eatery has also embraced the plant-based life, too, and has new vegan and vegetarian options. The former includes roasted peppers, quinoa salad and a hearty lentil salad, aiming to increase your protein and iron intake. New veggie dishes include gnocchi with cherry tomatoes.
What really catches our eye, however, is this asparagus and morel risotto – a fresh blend of mascarpone, garlic, shallots and garnished with green and white asparagus, morel mushrooms, and shaved Parmesan.
