Ever tried crocodile? Well, now’s your chance, thanks to a brand-new dish on the menu at Australian eatery Bushman’s.
Located at Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort on Palm Jumeirah’s eastern crescent, the stylish eatery is known for its Aussie game dishes, but it’s taken things up a notch with its new grilled crocodile skewers.
Sourced from Queensland, Australia, the white croc meat is soaked in a pineapple juice-based brine for 24 hours before being placed in a sous vide for an hour, then cooled. It’s then diced and skewered, kebab-style, and placed over a hot grill to colour before being served with a citrus pomelo salad and rich onion marmalade.
Predictably, croc meat is widely said to taste like chicken, just with a little more bite…
