Designed by Chef Paolo Bellamio, from Padua, Italy, the dishes will originate from his home nation, Spain, Portugal, England, France and Belgium.
Each dish will be on offer for an exclusive two-week period, until the Shellebration draws to a close on September 28.
The tour starts off with Spain and a traditional paella, which was a bestseller on last year’s Shellebration menu. Back by popular demand, the saffron rice is packed full of chunky seafood and lobster, for an indulgent take on a classic.
The second offering is a “Catalana di Crostacei”, a poached seafood platter with vegetable crudité.
Portugal is up next with a “Cataplana de Peixe y Marisco”, an authentic shellfish and fish stew.
Homesick Brits will love the posh fish and chips, too. Crisp hops batter-encased turbot, served with triple-cooked Maris Piper chips, can’t fail to remind of home (albeit a classier one than your average haddock and mushy peas version).
France is the penultimate inspiration with a “Le Crabe and Crevettes Tour” a tower of dressed Atlantic crab and crevettes, from Normandy.
The Shellebration concludes with Belgium, and a creamy moules marinière. Delightful.
