Brunch alternative at Greg Malouf’s new Dubai restaurant
Zahira, the newest restaurant from Australian-Lebanese Michelin-starred chef Greg Malouf, is launching a new Friday lunch offer to rival Dubai’s biggest brunches.
The staggering nine-course deal lunch will run from Friday August 4, and is priced at Dhs495 a head.
The restaurant opened earlier this year at The H Dubai and specialises in contemporary Middle Eastern dishes. Aiming to “showcase an artistic journey through the Levant”, dishes are inventive and interesting.
The Art of Feasting menu will change weekly, and each course will be paired with a glass of grape, plus a glass of sparkling grape on arrival. Diners are invited to “voyage through a decadent nine-course modern Middle Eastern lunch menu”, designed by the super chef.
“I’ve spent years working on the evolution of Lebanese cuisine and while the dishes need to remain faithful to the essence of the region, they can still be presented with creative flair,” says Malouf.
Dishes include wagyu basturma and hazelnut falafel to twice-cooked spatchcock chicken fatteh and lahem meshwi (skewered lamb).
Sounds like a foodie way to spend a Friday to us. Dhs495. Fri 1pm-4pm. The H Dubai, Sheikh Zayed Road (04 501 8606).
