Licensed restaurant from tashas set to open in Jumeirah Al Naseem this September
A new licensed venue from the tashas café brand is set to open next month.
Natasha Sideris, founder of the brand, will open the casual yet chic Flamingo Room by tashas, a 200-seater licensed venue at Jumeirah Al Naseem, offering up stunning views of the Arabian Gulf from its setting over by the complex’s turtle lagoon.
The largest tashas venue to date, Flamingo Room promises stunning interiors with an elegant colour scheme of peach and pink, while also taking inspiration from the fauna and flora of Africa and mixing in style details from the ’70s.
It’s “African opulence meets the sophisticated dining landscape of Dubai, but with the casual comfort and homely ambience the tashas brand is renowned for”, according to the team behind the new venue. It sounds intriguing and we can’t wait to visit.
As well as drinks at the bar and being able to satiate your hunger, you’ll also be able to satisfy your desire to shop, thanks to Flamingo Room by tashas’ collaboration with South African retail brand Collective by Charles Greig.
You can also expect an upmarket menu showcasing a variety of dishes and cooking styles. We’re promised it will feature only top-quality ingredients, and the dishes sound enticing, too – Lobster Benedict with toasted brioche and a saffron and lemon hollandaise, anyone?
More dishes to look forward to include a classic prawn avo ritz, white fish with sauce vierge and artichoke, beetroot quinoa salad, rib-eye steak with coriander and herb butter and a seafood pasta.
“I’m thrilled to announce the opening of Flamingo Room by tashas at Jumeirah Al Naseem. As is our way, we will be offering the same acclaimed service and quality of products that tashas has built its international reputation on, offering our guests a different but distinctive experience,” says Sideris.
The restaurant will be open all day serving breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner.
