Dishes will be “served in a surprising and delighting fashion”, say the team behind Miss Tess, and diners will be “surrounded by eclectic interiors that will transport them to the bustling street markets of Asia”.
The restaurant will sit in the space of Tesoro at the Taj Dubai, which will still operate for breakfast and lunch.
Dishes at the new Miss Tess will be inspired by flavours from Korea, Thailand, China, Vietnam and Japan. Although the menu is yet to be confirmed we’re expecting dishes to include authentic Korean barbecue, sushi, noodles and a range of fresh and spicy soups. There will also be a variety of interactive cooking stations whipping up a whole host of street food faves.
The restaurant aims to provide traditional food with “theatrical performance” and promises to be “simple and authentic, bold and affordable”.
We’ll see you there. Open daily 6pm-2am. Taj Dubai, Business Bay (04 438 3121).
