The compact menu is based on Emirati, Mediterranean and Asian-inspired tapas dishes, designed to share.
Highlights on the menu include “fake” carpaccio – watermelon strips with crème fraiche, pine nuts and tarragon; burrattini, burnt leeks, zucchini fries, patatas bravas, beef tartare, chicken parfait, seared duck and hot smoked salmon.
All dishes are under Dhs55, with the majority coming in at around Dhs40 to Dhs50.
A previous chef de cuisine at Seafire at Atlantis The Palm, the 32-year-old opened his first restaurant earlier this year.
The bar area recently launched a ladies’ night on a Tuesday, where all women will get two glasses of Spanish mixed beverage, plus three tasting tapas dishes for Dhs65.
And in even better news, there’s a new brunch launching next Friday (November 3), too. La Cocina De Jimador promises “great food, fun games and Latin music”.
