They were named from 300 internationally renowned chefs in the The Best Chef Award, one of the biggest competitions globally.
The awards celebrates “talent, individuality and culinary flair”.
Three Michelin-starred chef Alléno is of Stay, famous for its elegant dining and “pastry library”.
And French-trained Berger heads up the famous “underwater” restaurant at Atlantis The Palm.
“This is such a proud moment for both myself and my incredible team at Ossiano,” said chef Berger.
“We always strive to create innovative dishes, which really push the boundaries within the culinary world, and this recognition by The Best Chef Awards is truly an outstanding moment for us all. This award feels like the next chapter and I’m looking forward to building on this and seeing what 2018 will hold.”
In 2017, the selection of nominees was reduced to a list of 300 chefs to highlight the most talented globally. The entries for The Best Chef Awards are selected and judged by a panel of global journalists, photographers, distinguished chefs and bloggers.
Prior to joining Atlantis The Palm, Berger worked as chef de cuisine of Reign in Dubai’s DIFC, La Grande Cascade in Paris, France, Club 20-1 in Casablanca, Morocco and Le Bistro de Paris in Florida.
