Four extra-cheesy limited-edition burgers are now available
The only thing better than demolishing a good burger is devouring a good gourmet burger with a particularly jazzy name.
Luckily for us burger fans, there’s a new bonanza at Markette, offering four original, creative and incredibly juicy new creations for you to get your chops around.
Coined “The Big Bite”, four new flavours include Do-nut Tempt Me, Everyday I’m Trufflin’ and The Mexican Meltdown, all for Dhs89 each, and Mamma Mia, which costs Dhs79. We knew you wouldn’t be disappointed.
The limited-edition range are available until Friday December 29 and the burgers are so cheesy and downright oozy that special gloves will be provided on request, although the inevitable mess on your face will be up to you.
The Big Bite, created by Markette’s in-house chefs, brings together unique flavoursome ingredients and food trends from around the world, pairing them together to create never-seen-before juicy burger concoctions, all served with a stack of fries and a signature dipping sauce.
The Do-nut Tempt me is a seasoned and freshly battered chicken burger, bathed in sriracha sauce, loaded with pickled crunchy slaw, drizzled with a maple syrup glaze and wedged between a double doughnut-style bun.
Everyday I’m Trufflin’ compromises of a juicy grain-fed patty smothered in creamy mac ’n’ cheese, sprinkled with sliced authentic truffle flakes and sandwiched between a fluffy brioche bun.
The Mexican Meltdown is a chipotle-grilled chicken breast with lashings of sour cream, chilli con carne and fresh guacamole inside a cheesy brioche bun.
Last but not least, the Mamma Mia is composed of Markette’s classic and cherished house burger – but doubled. Two grain-fed patties are layered in cheese, topped with a fried egg, a scattering of rocket leaves, some slices of tomato and a slather of spicy mayo. This burger will be available all year round and begs the question – why would you have single, when you can go double?
The burgers are so colossal that Markette have released an official disclaimer, stating it is “completely responsible for your burger thrills but not your cheesy or juicy spills”. We reckon we’ll chance it. From Dhs79. Until Dec 29. Open daily 9am-2am. The Dubai Mall (04 339 8173).
