The new Italian restaurant is set in Jumeirah Creekside Hotel
There’s a brand-new Carluccio’s opening up, and it’s fully licensed.
The world-famous Italian restaurant chain, from well-known chef Antonio Carluccio, now has a 14th outlet in the Middle East – and it’s set in the Jumeirah Creekside Hotel in Garhoud.
This new outlet is the eighth in Dubai, and is the first licensed restaurant outside of the airport in the emirate and Time Out Dubai got a sneak peek ahead of its opening. Other popular branches to grab a family-friendly Italian meal include Dubai Marina Mall, The Dubai Mall and Arabian Ranches.
The new eatery is set on the ground level of Jumeirah Creekside Hotel – which also houses restaurants including España, Cu-Ba and Nomad – and is located near to The Irish Village.
Fans of the popular global chain founded by Antonio Carluccio, who died aged 80 last month (November 2017), can expect to see all their favourites on the menu, from pizza to pasta and salads – including penne giardiniera, home-made ravioli and spaghetti carbonara.
The Jumeirah Creekside Hotel branch has both indoor and outdoor seating, holding a total of 210 diners, and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are plans in the pipeline, too, for a brunch and a Thursday ladies’ night, with more details to be confirmed.
And, since it’s the season for festivities, there’s also a special holiday menu on offer, with a two-course menu coming in at Dhs109 and Dhs129 for three courses.
There’s also a separate bar menu with special sharing plates for those who want to graze, rather than fill up on a full meal.
“The opening of our first licensed venue in Dubai itself is something we’re excited to shout about,” says general manager Duncan Muir.
“We’re very excited to show our brand-new look design and layout of the restaurant and bar and we’re delighted with the vision that we have been able to turn into reality with the team at Harrison’s Design.”
