The cool eatery at Fairmont The Palm is introducing the LMI Saturday Brunch, so you can end your weekend in a spicy, flavoursome way. The first one is on Saturday April 7, and we can't wait to try it.
With vibrant, fun and eclectic décor, Little Miss India boasts colourful interiors and a sweeping outdoor terrace. The centrepiece is a “Tribal Art Taxi”, which marks the entrance to the restaurant - one of the heavily painted trucks frequently seen in south Asia.
Named after fictional character Mohini Singh, Little Miss India is designed to take diners on a “journey through her worldly travels, amazing achievements and an eccentric menu”.
“This quirky concept fuses a vibrant and colonial restaurant, lounge bar to tell a personal story, allowing guests to explore the incredible quality, history and diversity of Indian cuisine,” says the team behind it.
The character comes from a family of wealthy spice traders, and from her travels she’s brought back trinkets and dishes, all of which are on display in the décor and menu.
The new brunch is based on sharing, family-style dishes and promises an informal, fun vibe.
The three-course menu includes a large selection of dishes to try, including lamb, chicken and prawn kebabs, poppadums and chutneys, tandoo aloo and paneer tikka, while mains feature the restaurant’s popular butter chicken, lamb bhunna, tikka masalas, dal makhani and selections of Indian breads and sides. The meal ends with traditional desserts such as galub jamun, phirnee brulée and gajjar ka kalwa (carrot pudding).
Music comes in the form of cool beats from the resident DJ.
