The British chef will be returning to Dubai on Monday April 30 and staying until Friday May 4, so if you fancy tasting some of his world-famous dishes, it’s time to get booking.
Since his flagship restaurant Pollen Street Social launched in London’s Mayfair in 2011 (casually gaining a Michelin star within six months of opening), he’s set up restaurants in Sydney, the Philippines, Hong Kong, New York and, of course, right here in Dubai.
He's over for five days, but there are also a few special events happening, too.
Jason will be in the kitchen for The Social Club on Monday April 30 and Tuesday May 1. The evening boasts a sharing menu of starters, mains and desserts, including Marina Social signatures such as goat’s cheese churros, the Social burger and white chocolate cheesecake. Packages for soft drinks are Dhs275, while with house beverages it’s Dhs395.
Meanwhile on Wednesday May 2 there’s a special one-off event taking place, Middle East Meets Mediterranean. The event will see Jason and TV presenter and runner-up of Top Chef Arabia Hala Ayash cook up a special four-course meal. The evening costs Dhs450 for soft drinks and Dhs550 for a grape pairing.
The menu features classic dishes including hummus with caramelized peppers, tomato and roasted beetroot, slow-cooked lamb topped with pomegranate seeds and saffron risotto, beef tomato stuffed with aubergines and a sticky toffee white chocolate cheesecake with Halaweh crumble and rose water.
