Tom & Serg launches limited-edition eggs Benedict menu
There will be three new dishes a week at this Al Quoz café
Love eggs? Especially those kind that come poached and sat atop a variety of tasty ingredients? You’re in luck, as quirky café Tom & Serg has launched a brand new menu, entitled the “Benedict Project”.
Which means that for a whole month you’ll enjoy a limited-edition range of egg-based dishes. Sound good? We agree.
And the best news? They’re not just for breakfast. You can enjoy the new dishes from 8am until 4pm during the week and from 8am until 6pm at weekends.
Throughout July there will be three special eggs Benedict dishes, which will change every week.
The “Benedict Project” kicks off with the Black Benedict – a charcoal-infused sauce atop a traditional beef ham and eggs combo.
Next up there’s the savoury smoked salmon version, which is pretty much how it sounds, plenty of fresh salmon, poached eggs and toast. A classic combo. And the final offering from the first three is the chorizo Benedict – a hearty choice with lashings of Hollandaise and chunks of meaty sausage.
“Over the years that Tom&Serg has been open, the various eggs benedict dishes have always been the most popular menu items,” says Alexi, Mostert, Executive Chef of the Bull&Roo group. “Therefore we’ve decided to reward Dubai’s egg-hungry customers with a dedicated menu that features some very ‘out of the box’ flavour combinations.”
