The venue: A wall of cast bronze script welcomes you as you enter Qbara. Sculpted by Phuket-based metal artist John Underwood, it depicts poems and quotations about food, entertainment and the love of life. The interior also boasts a unique, two-story vertical installation, consisting of Arabesque carved panelling. Qbara is ‘authentic yet not traditional’ and emphasises flavour through the use of contemporary cooking methods.
