From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2010

Exuding a modern and relaxed vibe, complemented by warm and friendly service, Aquarium is a great place to eat. This fish-bowl restaurant offers patrons a 360-degree view of the surrounding area. Great visuals are also applicable to the food: options include seafood tagine and Greek-influenced dishes such as lemon and olive sea bass. The seared scallops with dates are also sublime. Dessert is slightly disappointing in that many dishes don’t live up to the menu’s vivid descriptions, but the lunch and dinner deals on offer throughout the week are of outstanding value – something that is true of the overall dining experience at Aquarium.

Nice tranquil surroundings overlooking the creek. This was my first visit here when I came on the 11th of August. The centre of the restaurant has a cylindrical aquarium.
Decided on the set menu. First up was salmon cake. Sorbet offered before the main course which was the seafood platter that included the tail of lobster, prawns, hammour & salmon with vegetables. Fresh ingredients prepared with care, marks this place.
Duo of Brie de meaux - hot and cold cheese serve with crackers completed the meal.
Waiters willing to chat and help with suggestions.
Cost Dhs 170(set menu), plus extra.

Really lovely restaurant, lovely cocktails in the bar area before dinner. Great service, fantastic setting and very good prices. Beautiful creek views. It is usually bit quiet so really great if you can take a small group with you! Great for impressing clients as well!

An unexpected gem in Deira. Service was excellent with knowledgeable and non-intrusive servers. Their summer menu is great value.

We went for dinner. It was fabulous! More worth it than going to Al Mahara. :)
