For those not familiar with Turkish food, the menu at Kosebasi – an export of one of Turkey’s most highly regarded restaurants – may confound. Don’t let this put you off, as the staff are both friendly and exceedingly helpful. Patlican salatas, the Turkish rendition of baba ganoush, makes for a silken dip, especially when paired with the billowy fresh baked bread. The mixed grill is also a good bet, as it comes heaving with an assortment of tender, intricately flavoured meats. Plus, the place is reasonable to boot, making it a prime choice for meat lovers residing near the Marina.
