M's Beef Bistro
Simple tasty steaks are the order of the day at this well-known meat stop, we returned for a rematch 2 Reviews
From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2010
For some, the word ‘bistro’ implies a moderately priced, simple French restaurant. M’s Bistro is no such establishment. However, some French elements are maintained (take their ‘escargots de Bourgogne with roasted yellow baby chicken’, for example), though the same cannot be said for the decor, which is more Mediterranean than French – terracotta tiles, olive trees and rich red hues. The menu doesn’t cater particularly well for vegetarians/non-beef eaters (but would vegetarians choose to go to a steakhouse?), but excels in terms of its global beef imports; take your pick of supreme cuts from Japan, New Zealand and the States. The wagyu beef can be tailored to your specification by selecting from a béarnaise, pepper, mushroom or mustard sauce. The side dishes are rather petite, but having the divine crêpes suzette flambéed with grand marnier at your table as a dramatic finale, will more than make up for that. Encore!
