Harry’s bears all the trademarks of an American sports bar, introducing the theme early on with its townhouse façade entrance that’s reminiscent of Disneyland. But don’t let that put you off because Harry’s provides more than just basic bar food, featuring an Italian/American selection, with pastas and pizzas, and steak and chicken. The pizzas are admirable – the thin crust bubbles with melting cheese and well-spiced meats.

The salads and soups are less overwhelming, but the service is attentive and friendly, and doesn’t go hell for leather on all the usual American hospitality extravagances. Harry’s also has a generous cigar room for the tobacco aficionado, which features luxurious sofas and cabinets stuffed with cigars. A friendly, fun place for a decent meal.
