Taza

Chicken-heavy fast-food Satwa Reviews

From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2008

There are certain fast food joints that choose to advertise their meaty wares by decorating the premises with jolly cartoons of happy cows, chirpy chickens, foppish fish and such like. It’s a strange thing when you think about it, but we advise you to ignore the images of happy chickens here and instead concentrate on the grub, which is on the whole pretty good.

The barbecue chicken is a slab of flattened meat, bursting with lemon tang, while the chicken kofta, teamed up with a mound of peppery rice, doesn’t disappoint. With slabs of fresh hot bread served straight from the oven, Taza provides a swift and satisfying fast food experience.

Anemic and totally unacceptable meat. Horrible. The atmosphere is making a bit up - but not enough...

Hi,

I went to this restaurant yesterday evening with my friend with a lot of appetite and walked out sad because of the behaviour of a staff.

The staff at the counter was so very not gentle and looked he was not liking his job. On asking thrice he bothers to say what the specific arabic food is which I had asked for. Then he gets the order and kind of slides the plate in a very unfriendly manner as if it was for dogs. The food was good but when returned to the counter for some sauce he charges me 1dirham and gives me the sauce which I later saw lying on all the table bottled for use.

The staff was so very ridiculous that he did not even bother to behave to 2 women in this manner. I would never go there again and also would not suggest the place to any of my friends.

I
Regards

Babita.
