Impressive waterside bar for wowing visitors 1 Reviews
From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2008
With its waterside Madinat Jumeirah setting, take any visitors here and they will instantly see why you moved to Dubai. Weekend nights, as you’d expect, are busy, which means that you can find yourself surrounded by other would-be dinners enviously eyeing up your table.
But who can blame them, because the food portions are just as overwhelming as the view. If you want to make it to the main course, order a sharer plate for your starter. The Far Eastern sharer with assortment of deep-fried chicken and seafood, Thai crackers and dipping sauces definitely helps whet your appetite.
Main courses don’t disappoint size-wise either. The only person who is disappointed is the waitress, who tut-tuts when you don’t finish your lamb shank that weighs the equivalent of a small child. If you manage to get to desserts, the strawberry crème brûlée with basil ice-cream is pleasant.
The food here is decent, and you won’t have to re-mortgage your villa to buy it.
