This is by far the best Indian food I have had in Dubai and I have been here since 2006. The service is friendly and efficient and the quality of the food is excellent - I would recommend this to anyone looking for a decent meal out.

Nothing Special there , VERY Less Veg Options , Very Very EXPENSIVE , ON THE TOP OF IT Service TAX , Best Place to Kill Your Money, Not Worth at All , food is good but not worth at all for the Amount you are going to Pay Friends.

Yesterday night I had a fabulous Indian food in Ushna. A recommended restaurant for Indian food lovers, food was really good although prices are fairly on higher side in my opinion. I enjoyed the experience with my family. Staff is really well mannered and they looked after my family very well.
I will definitely go back taking my European family friends to Ushna. The terrace facing the water side is beautiful …. I loved the dine in terrace.

we used to be the regular at ushna till they introduce the kids policy.
now its good to see they are accepting the kids again.
we had a very good meal last night, the tandoori prawn and veggi samosa are really amazing,

Dined here whilst in dubai on a few occations, found food to be very well cooked with the taste of real spices flowing through, great menu as well from starters right upto deserts, the interior could do with an update as lacks behind some what, apart from that a very good place to eat.

A nice Indian restaurant in the the souk madinate jumeirah.
The food was very good, very well presented.they give you a choice of either having your food mild, medium and spicy and very easy on the stomach.
My family and I loved the experience.
Price tag: Fairly on the higher side I think.
Ambience: ok, not that great.
Service: ok but its was irritating there was two waiter were taking very loud near to our table.

All together it was good experienceand will definitely recommend this to everyone.

we had a wonderful meal last nite.i was invited by one of my friens's father and the food is very good, well made and very well presented. it was one of the best dinning experience i had here in dubai coz i am on visit.definately will love to come back next time i am here.

I went with friends on a Thursday. And it was almost full inside we have to wait 10 min for the table.
We got disappointed with the restaurant ambience first; the restaurant is in very bad stage.
But all this is being covered by food. The food is amazing!!!!!!! The service is a little slow may be because it was full that time but in whole it was a good experience.
The food was well prepared and excellent quality, as an Indian this is honestly the best food i have tasted for many years. But my only complain was the music, the loud music did not justify the ambiance. The music was loud fusion and unrelated to anything ethnic.

we went for the iftar yeserday and we have a good experience in ushna, srvice and food was very very good and the staff are realy frendly i recommend this restaurant to my frend.

TIME STOOD DELICIOUSLY STILL AT USHNA'S It was again that time of the year when i had to pick out a good restaurant for one of my friends Birthday's.Hearing about Ushna's from one of my fellow collegues i thought this could be perfect, and i wasnt mistaken.The place serves one of the most amazing starters i have eaten.The Prawns well marinated are literally to die for...The Chicken kebabs really exotic.The small and cute samosas and Mushroom starters were amazingly decorated with a unique papad design.Hats off to the manager for coming up with such design..The servings of the main course being generous.The desserts again interestly yummy.The fusion injected in every dish is really facinating and amazing to see.Being an Indian i didnt expect such authentic Indian food in Dubai. Hats off to the well mannered team (Very rarely seen in dubai) I wud give a full 90/10 on the whole Bon Appetite

If your planning to step out for lunch... try the mouthwatering authentic Indian cuisine at Usna amidst the hustle and bustle of Madinah Jumeirah... u will surely enjoy your business or family meal with your loved ones.. and be sure to have a good nap then after. The food is really awesome here!!!.. Highly recommended by me!!

Me and my wife are regulars at Ushna. Food is great specially the starters. Non Veg Platter and Sheek Kebab are a must have.
The setting is beautifull and the terrace area has quite a romantic setting.
The service is exceptional.
It is a restaurant that we highly recommend.

We went for there iftar special, which we had thought sounded llike a real bargain. Since the magazine review said that the food was good we figured that it would be great.
Needless to say we were very disappointed. As far as indian food is concerned this was not the best we have had. It was also very unclear what was included in the iftar special so we wound up being charged for items that we had assumed were included, like rice. They also charged full price for each child under five.
All in all it left us and our entire group with a bitter taste in our mouths. We will be staying very far away from this restaurant in favor of Shoo Fee Ma Fee their neighbor down the hall, where we have never had a bad experience.
