From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2008
This place is comfortable, homely and there are no hidden surprises. Just a good English pub-grub-style menu that honours its regular punters with decent all-day breakfasts and meat pies. If you’re after a snack, the spring rolls, chicken wings and breaded jalapeño peppers slide down a treat. If that whets the appetite, try the lamb and Guinness stew.
The meat is impressively tender, although the mashed potato topping seems slightly synthetic. If you have room, you won’t after the warm apple pie with ice-cream, which comes as a plate-sized portion of steaming sweetness.
