From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2008

Last year this pub was moved from the front of the hotel to the back, so it’s shiny and new now and better for it. Sink into some booth seating and you’d be forgiven for thinking you were back in Blighty in this windowless boozer with tasteless carpets.

Still, this is a popular destination for Bur Dubai residents who want to watch football, or as a low key place to meet mates. The menu won’t raise an eyebrow with staples such as potato skins dripping in cheese, soups and salads. Avoid the bangers and mash at all costs and instead order the burger or chicken tikka masala, and you’ll leave happy.

Basically, you can have an average fill here and it won’t break the bank. Just don’t expect anything memorable and you won’t feel cheated.
