From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2008

Food here is cheap, simple and well executed. All the dishes come with rice and most cost around Dhs20. The laab gai, chilled minced chicken blended spicily with mint, onion and lemongrass, is excellent, although the seafood salad is a little plain.

The meat in the beef panang curry is slightly on the chewy side, but the sauce is delicious, with the creaminess of the coconut milk tempering the red curry spicing, while the fried snapper is a straightforward and succulent portion of fish.

Overall the food is good enough to inspire you to go to the Thai supermarket next door, buy a few stalks of lemongrass and some bab aubergines, and learn how to make the stuff yourself.
