This eaterie remains constantly busy due to its high-quality food and tame price tags.

Not surprisingly, fish is the dish of the day, served in such giant portions that justify the novelty oversized frying pans they are served in.

Even the salad starters – impressive offerings of greens feathered with a choice of seafood – are gigantic, and run the risk of filling you up long before your main has arrived. Struggle through and make your selection from the array of reasonably priced, yet spectacularly tasty dishes.

The fish and chips is far beyond your basic chippie fare, the range of perfectly cooked salmon steaks and whole hammour impressive and the grand seafood platters are as good as any in Dubai.

If (inconceivably) you are still hungry after all of this, treat yourself to a New York cheesecake – a real cheek-puffer of a dish – to finish.
